By accessing or using www.zylist.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Zylist.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Platform Purpose

Zylist is a discovery and search platform that helps users find and explore Instagram-based businesses, local shops, and product showcases.

• Zylist is a directory and discovery tool only — not a marketplace
• We do not act as a payment intermediary or facilitate transactions
• All purchases, orders, and agreements happen directly between users and businesses outside of Zylist

2. Instagram Disclaimer & Non-Affiliation

Business listings on Zylist are created in the following ways:

• User-submitted — business owners or users voluntarily submit business information
• Admin-curated — our team may manually add publicly available business information

We do not automatically scrape, harvest, or access Instagram's private APIs to collect data. All Instagram profile links displayed on Zylist are publicly available handles submitted by users or business owners.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or submit business listings
• By registering, you confirm you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
• Zylist is not intended for users under 18

4. No Transactions or Payments

• Zylist does not handle, process, or facilitate payments of any kind
• Any transactions happen directly between users and sellers via their own channels (Instagram DMs, WhatsApp, etc.)
• Zylist is not responsible for disputes, refunds, product quality, delivery, or fraud arising from transactions with listed businesses

5. User Content & Copyright

Users and business owners may submit store details, product information, images, descriptions, and reviews ("User Content").

Ownership

• You retain ownership of content you submit to Zylist
• By submitting content, you grant Zylist a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for operating the platform
• This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account

Your Responsibility

• You must own or have the right to use any images, photos, or text you submit
• Do not submit images or content that belong to someone else without their permission
• Zylist is not liable for copyright violations arising from content you submit. You indemnify Zylist against any third-party claims arising from your content

Store Images

• Images uploaded by business owners remain the property of the business owner
• Images submitted by admin or other users for unlisted businesses are treated as publicly available information — if you are the owner and object, contact us for removal

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory information about any business
• Impersonate a business owner, user, or Zylist team member
• Upload illegal, harmful, obscene, or offensive content
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from Zylist without written permission
• Use Zylist to send spam, unsolicited promotions, or phishing content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
• Manipulate ratings or reviews (fake reviews, review bombing)
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Indian or applicable law

7. Business Listings & Claims

• Business listings are available to be claimed by the legitimate owner via the store claim process
• By claiming a store, you confirm you are an authorised representative of that business
• False claims are a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension
• Zylist does not verify business registration documents — owners are responsible for accuracy of submitted information

8. Content Accuracy Disclaimer

Zylist does not independently verify:

• Seller claims, product quality, or availability
• Pricing accuracy
• Business legitimacy or registration status
• Authenticity of user-submitted reviews

Users should independently verify information before engaging with any business.

9. Platform Availability

• Zylist is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• Features may change, be paused, or discontinued without prior notice
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service

10. Intellectual Property

• All Zylist branding, logos, platform design, and code are the intellectual property of Zylist
• Instagram® and related marks are the property of Meta Platforms, Inc. — Zylist claims no rights over them
• Unauthorised copying, reproduction, or commercial use of Zylist's platform or branding is prohibited

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zylist is not liable for:

• Losses or damages arising from transactions with listed businesses
• Business disputes between buyers and sellers
• Inaccuracies in business or product information
• Downtime, data loss, or service interruptions
• Third-party content or links displayed on the platform

12. Your Data Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data held by Zylist. For full details, see our Privacy Policy. To exercise your rights, contact our Grievance Officer at founder@zylist.com.

13. Compliance with Indian Law

Zylist operates in compliance with the following Indian laws and regulations:

• Information Technology Act, 2000 — governing electronic records, data protection, and cybercrime
• IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011 — governing collection, storage, and use of sensitive personal data
• Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — we are a discovery platform and not a seller; any disputes are between buyers and sellers directly
• Indian Contract Act, 1872 — these terms constitute a binding contract under Indian law

Any dispute arising from use of Zylist shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these terms
• Remove any content without prior notice
• Restrict access to the platform for any user or region at our discretion

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Zylist evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Zylist after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
